Can't wait until one of your friends gets the Aperta so you can drive it and give us an Oppo review

Watched it earlier today, I love how they go through the car's history.

I refuse to watch it. It might make me want it too much. I have to keep letting myself believe that the F430 is the best Dino ever

Actually this video made me look up 355s for sale more than anything.

Go back even farther. 348 Spider.
You should get one. Cheap.

I need to have a Hellcat's-worth wad of cash to buy and maintain that.

No way! It's like $35K. I bet you could average no more than $4K a year in maintenance. It would take a while to cost more than a Hellcat!

I was actually behind a 458 Spider on my drive home tonight, which is really weird because you NEVER see a Ferrari around here. What I couldn't understand was why he had the top up. It was a gorgeous day and perfect top down weather.

Ferrari's gotten reeeeal lazy with the naming lately. Before we had 'F430 Scuderia' which sounds sexy and exciting. And now we get...FF. Hey, four seats, four wheel drive! FF! Ehh?! Ehh?!
Also, we've made a better version of the 458 italia (which also sounds sexy and exciting) so we're gonna call it...the 458 Special e ! See? Pronounced 'Speciale', like you've been practicing a crappy italian accent so you can impress that barista who's into mediterranean guys. Speciale! Ehh!? Ehhh!
I guess the italia's replacement special edition car will be called 'Ferrari 482 ItsFasterNow'

Haha it's been both lazy and weird. LaFerrari? WTF? That's more lazy than weird. It took more effort to think about something that odd than it did to think about something else. Italians don't even use "La", do they? Sounds like a mix of French and Italian.

I was enjoying his music. The tune from his exhaust was better than anything coming from his sound system could have possibly been.

Maybe Nysschen will take over Ferrari once he is done ruining rescuing caddy. Then they can all just be called 'Ferrari'. Each car will have a badge that is a picture of a pallet of money, that will increase as the car's price goes up. Yeah. Let's do it "The Artist Formerly Known As Prince" style.

Unfortunately, neither of them decided to purchase it. Jerry, the one seriously considering it, felt that it just wasn't unique enough.

You should tell Jerry that there is more at stake here than he realizes. How can the rest of us live out our dreams vicariously through him if he makes decisions like that??

I know but it wasn't that surprising to me. He loves his 16M and feels like the 458 is ugly (he refers to it as "the smiling catfish").

No it's the same F430. I dunno why you're so excited. Nothing to see here. No new news. All old stuff. All F1 transmissions. My avatar is just to show what I dream about.

1.75 YEARS.
But, uh, new development. I might be considering law school. And by considering, I might mean seeking out guidance from a law department admissions wizard. Nothing too serious yet, but I'm definitely floating the idea.

ARGHHHHHH. That shit takes forever! My sister is an attorney. She's still paying back debt. And still not making much money. Even though she spent her whole 20s in school and taking the bar

It's hard to find profit in a Geography degree. No matter how interesting I find the subject... I would like money and job security.
Also, I've been looking into the history of Law and whatnot recently, and I'm very interested in it. I guess I've always been blinded by my preconceptions about the subject (old guys in stuffy suits arguing with people in a court room). But the administrative side of things really interests me, plus it can obviously apply to cars and geography.
Plus, a J.D. only takes three years. I don't plan on spending my entire twenties in law school, and I'd rather use the degree in the field than actually practice law with it and go through that whole process, although that's an option I guess. I had no idea about the range of options that J.D.s have until a month or two ago, when I started looking into this.
About the money... that'll be the deal breaker. I did a free practice LSAT and did more ok than I thought I would. I think I could get a pretty decent score if I set my mind to it and study like crap this coming year. A good score, combined with a good GPA from my well ranked university (I'm on track to graduate w/ honors from my department), could hopefully get me some scholarship opportunities at schools that aren't, uh, like Ivy League or something.
But this may be overly optimistic. Which is why I plan on talking to people who actually know things about it.
